Kelty Hearts are delighted to announce the loan signing of Ricco Diack from Partick Thistle.  The 20 year-old will bolster Thomas O’Ware’s options in the number nine position.

Diack has made 34 appearances for the Jags since breaking into their first team, scoring six goals.  Last season, the striker spent the campaign on loan at Championship Airdrie, scoring three in 18.

Diack told the Kelty Hearts media team that he is “really looking forward to playing much more at Kelty. I am hopeful to perform well and score a few goals.”

Ricco featured prominently in Partick Thistle’s 2023/24 campaign where they finished third in the Championship. Sharing the spotlight with Brian Graham, Diack scored six that season and appeared in their promotion play-off campaign.

Thomas O’Ware is delighted to get Diack on board, “we have worked hard as a club to try and get this deal done,” he said.  

“I’ve been a big fan of Riccos for the last few years, he has a lot of potential and we hope it’s an opportunity for him to show everyone what he can do.  He has all the attributes to be a top player so I’m excited to have him here.”
