Kelty Hearts are delighted to announce the signing of Jack Wyllie on loan from Rangers. The 17 year-old central defender becomes our 12th signing of the season.

Speaking to the Kelty Hearts media team, Wyllie is ” delighted to join Kelty. I’m looking forward to working with the manager again and having a good season.”

Wyllie has been with the Ibrox club for eight years and is capped at Scotland U-19 level.

Thomas O’Ware knows Jack well from his time coaching at the Rangers academy. O’Ware told the media team he “knows the qualities Jack has and he’s developed into an adult now.

We’re looking forward to integrating him into the group, with the injuries we’ve had he’ll be a vital part of the team. He’s a strong defender with great physical attributes, so hopefully he can fit into our system.”
