Kelty Hearts are delighted to announce a cooperation system agreement with Aberdeen Football Club. As part of our agreement, we can confirm the loan signings of Cooper Masson, Lewis Carroll and Joseph Truesdale.
As all players are between the ages of 16-21 and eligible to play for Scotland, they are eligible for the cooperation system. The agreement allows flexible movement for the trio between Kelty Hearts and Aberdeen, in order to increase their playing time and aid their development.
Speaking about the partnership, Thomas O’Ware said “the partnership with Aberdeen is one we hope can be successful moving forward. We have had great loans in the past with Aberdeen and are hoping this can continue.” Previous loanees from the Dons include Kieran Ngwenya, Connor Barron and Jack Milne.
Cooper Masson is a midfielder and has also featured for Scotland at U17 level, while Joe Truesdale is a winger who has featured for the Dons development team at European level. Finally, Lewis Carroll is a defender who has had interest from English Premier League clubs previously.
On the trio, Thomas O’Ware has said “Joe, Lewis and Cooper will add some real competition for places in the squad. It’s the boys first loan and we need to be patient with them, ultimately we want to develop them as much as we can before they go back to Aberdeen. We are delighted they are here.”
