Thomas O’Ware Departs

Kelty Hearts FC can confirm that manager Thomas O’Ware has left the club.

Thomas departs after serving the club both as a player and, more recently, as manager, having made a significant contribution to Kelty Hearts throughout his time at New Central Park.

As a player, Thomas was an important part of the Kelty Hearts side that secured promotion to the SPFL in 2022, helping the club achieve a historic milestone and establish itself within the national leagues.

Thomas then moved into a new role at the club in a managerial capacity, taking on the responsibility of leading the first team and continuing his association with Kelty Hearts from the dugout.

Everyone at Kelty Hearts would like to place on record our sincere thanks to Thomas for his commitment, professionalism and contribution to the football club during both periods of his career with us.

His connection with the club stretches beyond his role as manager, and he will always be remembered as part of an important chapter in the history of Kelty Hearts.

We wish Thomas, and his family, all the very best for the future and thank him for everything he has done for Kelty Hearts.

In the interim, Michael Tidser will step in to take charge of first-team affairs, working with the existing coaching staff as the club begins the process of determining its next steps.

Michael is already familiar with the club and will oversee the team in the immediate term, with further updates to follow in due course.
