Exciting progress continues at New Central Park this summer as major improvement works are now well underway ahead of the new season.

Restoration and repair work to the seated stand has already begun, while today marked the start of the resurfacing and installation of a brand new GreenFields MF Elite Astro surface.

Alongside this, upgrades to modern energy-efficient LED lighting are also underway as part of the club’s continued investment into the stadium and wider community facilities.

The new pitch installation is expected to be completed within the next six weeks and will provide long-term benefits for both Kelty Hearts FC and Kelty Hearts Community Club for years to come.

There’s still more to come this summer, with planned improvement works also including upgrades to the Kelty Hearts Club Shop, changing rooms and Social Club facilities.

In addition, further development work on an extension to the Community Centre car park is expected in the future as part of ongoing plans to improve access and infrastructure around New Central Park.

A huge thank you goes to everyone involved in helping drive these improvements forward as we continue building for the future, both on and off the pitch.
