Kelty Hearts will make the journey north this weekend to take on Montrose in our first game of 2025.
Six points separate the two sides with the Maroon Machine in third and Montrose just outside the play-offs in sixth. Both teams lost last time out however, with the Gable Endies losing heavily to Angus rivals Arbroath.

It’s back to where it began with a repeat of the opening match of the 2024/25 season. The shares were spoiled in that game with Craig Brown opening the scoring before Ross Cunningham scored his first of 11 goals for the campaign.
The fixture at New Central Park was a frustrating one, with Stewart Petrie’s team winning 2-0. Second half goals from Matheus Machado and Ben Maciver-Redwood confirmed all three points were going back up the A92.

Kelty Hearts will be keen to make amends for a disappointing result and performance last time at Dumbarton. The Sons won 2-0 with a Kalvin Orsi brace, a Scott Allan sending off means he will be unavailable for this one.
A win for the Maroon Machine will consolidate a place in the play-offs and potentially close the gap on the top to two points. Meanwhile, Montrose will be keen to clinch three points at home with the top four still in sight.
