It’s a return to New Central Park as Kelty Hearts prepare for Saturday evening action against Stenhousemuir. 3rd take on 2nd in a League One clash which will also be broadcast on BBC Alba.
Only one point separates Kelty Hearts and Stenhousemuir in the table, with the Warriors three points away from leaders Arbroath. The Maroon Machine could start the match outside of the play-offs as both Alloa and Cove Rangers kick-off their games at 3pm.

Stenhousemuir go into this one unbeaten in their last two. Last time out, Stenny were held to a 1-1 draw at home to Annan despite taking the lead through Gregor Buchanan. Kelty Hearts also drew their last match away to Montrose.
The two sides have been difficult to separate so far, both having short stints at the top of the table. In the previous meetings, Kelty Hearts defeated Stenny 2-0 at NCP in August meanwhile Gary Naysmith’s side won 2-1 at Ochilview.
In the first encounter Kelty ran out deserved winners, with goals from Scott Allan and Ross Cunningham either side of half time securing three points. In the game at Stenhousemuir however, Stenny were the better team.

Goals from Euan O’Reily and Gregor Buchanan saw the Warriors into a two goal lead before Cunningham replied. Cunningham would then have the opportunity to salvage a point on the road, however Darren Jamieson saved his spot kick deep into injury time.
Captain Tam O’Ware previewed the match to Kelty Hearts TV by saying “it’s another chance to get three points on the board. We had the disappointment against Dumbarton and we needed to bounce back which we’ve done well all season, it’s at home so we’ll go into the match positive.”
