The Maroon Machine welcome Queen of the South to New Central Park in this League One clash. With five games left to play of the season and plenty still to be played for, both sides will be desperate to pick up points.
The Doonhamers sit fourth in the table and currently occupy that final promotion play-off spot. They are three points ahead of fifth placed Peterhead however, so Peter Murphy’s side will know they can’t let their standards drop.

Queen of the South have been in shaky form having only picked up one win in their last nine league matches. Last week, they picked up an impressive point away to league leaders Inverness Caledonian Thistle.
Kelty Hearts will be hopeful of building on the momentum of last week’s massive win at Broadwood. Goals from Arran Pettifer and Ross Cunningham clinched all three points in a game which cut the gap to three points from ninth.

This season, Queen of the South have had the better of Kelty however this has not always been the case. The last meeting at New Central Park finished 1-1, with a Ricco Diack goal cancelling out a Kai Kennedy penalty.
A win for the Maroon Machine would continue to put pressure on Hamilton Academical, with the Accies away to Stenhousemuir.
After last week’s win, Thomas O’Ware told Kelty Hearts TV “it’s one game at a time. Our focus won’t change going into any game – every game this season we’ll go into it trying to get three points.”
