Kelty Hearts welcome neighbours East Fife for the third meeting of the season at New Central Park.   The Bayview side have won both league and cup encounters so far.

The Maroon Machine will be hoping to build on the positive point gained in the Highlands last week.  A brace for Innes Murray saw Kelty take a two goal lead before Inverness fought back.

A result for Kelty would be their first points picked up at New Central Park this season.  All seven league points have been picked up on the road so far.

For the visitors, they sit fifth after a promising start to their return to the third tier.  After losing their opening two, Dick Campbell’s side have only lost one of their last eight league matches.

Last time the two teams met was a fiery clash at Bayview.  An Andy Munro brace either side of James Graham’s goal saw the hosts clinch the win, with Brian Easton being sent off for a cynical challenge on Graham late on.

Previewing the match to Kelty Hearts TV, Thomas O’Ware said “we’ve played them twice already… and they’ve been tight affairs.  We’ll assess the squad, analyse East Fife and plan accordingly.”
