Kelty Hearts take on Cove Rangers in what may be the biggest game of the season so far. One point separates the bottom two in the battle to avoid the automatic relegation spot in League One.
With Hamilton Academical’s further points deduction, Kelty Hearts are now four points away from automatic safety. A win in this massive encounter could be the catalyst for Thomas O’Ware’s side to shoot up the table.

The last meeting between the two sides was an away win for Kelty at the Balmoral Stadium. A first minute penalty was converted by Innes Murray before Joseph Teasdale secured all three points in the closing stages.
Since then, Cove Rangers have picked up a few points. Mainly, this has been due to the experienced signings of Chris Maguire and Greig Stewart who have bolstered the Aberdeen side’s attack.
Last time out, they were defeated at home to East Fife with a late Gregor Nicol goal. Prior to that defeat, they were on a three game unbeaten run in the league.

Kelty Hearts will be hoping to bounce back after last week’s disappointing defeat in Peterhead. The Maroon Machine battled from two goals down to go level but still lost out in the 87th minute.
Previewing the match to Kelty Hearts TV, Thomas O’Ware said “I’ve looked forward to every game. There comes a point when we need to do more individually.”
