The action returns to New Central Park this weekend as Kelty Hearts welcome Annan Athletic. Michael Tidser’s side will be looking to bounce back after two successive defeats to Cove Rangers and Alloa.
The Maroon Machine suffered a narrow defeat to league leaders Alloa last weekend in a game that could’ve gone either way. Connor Sammon’s 70th minute goal inflicted the first away defeat of the season for Kelty Hearts.

Annan Athletic have had a difficult start to the season and currently sit 8th in the table. After winning their opening two matches of the season, Wullie Gibson’s side have only picked up one point out of their last possible 15.
The Galabank side’s point came against a Dumbarton side who played the majority of the game with 10 men. In this run, they suffered a heavy defeat to Stenhousemuir and were also beaten by Queen of the South and Arbroath.
Tommy Goss will be the danger man for the visitors this weekend, the physical striker has already netted this season and scored 10 last campaign. Craig Johnston scored twice against Annan in the 2023/24 season and will be keen to score again.
During the last campaign, the matches between both sides were tight. Annan got the better of Kelty Hearts on one occasion with a 3-2 win and the three other meetings ended in score draws.
