Kelty Hearts host Alloa Athletic to New Central Park in a midweek tie.  Our rescheduled fixture against the Wasps closes out the first quarter of the season.

The Maroon Machine will be keen to put Saturday’s disappointing 2-1 defeat to Peterhead behind them.  Goals from Dylan Forrest and Max Barry overturned Ricco Diack’s stunning early free-kick.

Our visitors sit 8th in the league table, two points behind East Fife in the final promotion play-off spot.  Last time out, Andy Graham’s side lost away to Queen of the South as Mikey Hewitt won it late on for the Doonhamers.

Alloa boast an impressive record over Kelty, winning three of the four encounters last season.  New Central Park saw the outlier though as goals from Craig Johnston and Robbie Cole clinched a 2-1 win on the final day.

Previewing the game to Kelty Hearts TV, Thomas O’Ware admits “we know with the players missing it’ll be the same group (as Saturday).  We’ll need to roll our sleeves up and come in with that attitude to go and win the game, it’s as simple as that.”
