Kelty Hearts make the journey west to Dumbarton on Saturday to take on the Sons. Dumbarton sit bottom of the league after a 15 point deduction following their administration, without that deduction they would be 8th above Inverness and Annan.

This will be Kelty’s second trip to the Rock this season and the third meeting overall, as we enter the second half of the season. The first meeting finished 2-2, with goals from Luke McCarvel and Craig Johnston being cancelled out by two Mark Durnan set-piece equalisers.
The meeting at New Central Park finished 2-0 to the Maroon Machine. Goals from Ross Cunningham and Scott Williamson clinched all three points in a match Kelty Hearts controlled.

Stevie Farrell’s side come into this one on the back of an impressive win at Links Park against Montrose. A brace from Finlay Gray was enough to see three points going back to Dumbarton to end a run of two heavy defeats.
Previewing the match to Kelty Hearts TV, Michael Tidser said “with the points deduction they’ll be fighting for points. They won’t make it easy for us anyway so we’ll prepare ourselves.”
