Kelty Hearts are on the road for the last time this season to take on Cove Rangers in Aberdeen. Matching or bettering Annan’s result will secure safety for the Maroon Machine.
It’s 2nd v 7th in League One with both teams having something to play for. For Cove, a win will officially clinch a play-off spot. No matter what happens, a win for Kelty guarantees our place in next season’s League One.

Paul Hartley’s side have won one of their last six, albeit losing only two of those with one against champions Arbroath. Mitch Megginson is the joint top scorer in the league alongside Ross Cunningham.
Cove Rangers have had the better of the matches against Kelty this campaign. A 0-0 draw at Balmoral is the only point gained against the Aberdeen based team. The encounters at New Central Park have finished 3-1 and most recently 4-0 to the visitors.

The Maroon Machine’s resurgence under interim manager Tam O’Ware was halted after losing 3-1 to Queen of the South. Jacob MacIntyre added a goal to his impressive performances, before the Doonhamers came back to win.
Previewing the match to Kelty Hearts TV, O’Ware said “it’s still in our hands. It’s two massive cup finals coming up and we need to start the work for that.”
