Kelty Hearts make the journey to the south side of Aberdeen to take on Cove Rangers. It’s 8th hosting 10th in League One as the Maroon Machine look to hunt down Cove.

Seven points separate Kelty Hearts in the bottom spot and Cove in the safety of eighth place, with Paul Hartley’s side having played a game more. Due to their points deduction, Hamilton Academical now occupy the relegation play-off spot.

Cove Rangers are coming off the back of a big midweek win at home to Montrose. Two goals in four minutes saw the hosts sail into a two goal lead before the Gable Endies pulled one back. A second for O’Donnell with six minutes to go secured all three points.

The two league meetings between either side have went in th visitor’s favour. At New Central Park a clinical Cove performance saw them run out as convincing winners. At the Balmoral Stadium, goals from Innes Murray and Joseph Teasdale clinched three points.

The last meeting between the two sides met was last month in Scottish Cup action. After a Justin Eguiabor own goal cancelled out Mitch Megginson’s opener, Kelty progressed in a dramatic penalty shootout.

Previewing this fixture to Kelty Hearts TV, Thomas O’Ware admits “everyone will single this game out because of the league table. From now until the end of the season, every game is massive. We’ll go up there and do everything we can to get the three points.”
