It’s a return to league action for Kelty Hearts as we travel to the Indodrill Stadium to take on Alloa Athletic. The Maroon Machine return to league action following a week off and are keen to get back to winning ways.
Kelty Hearts and Alloa sit fifth and sixth in the League One table respectively and are only separated by goal difference, albeit Kelty have two games in hand. Both sides are one point behind fourth place Queen of the South and are very much in the hunt for the play-offs.

The Wasps have had the better of Kelty Hearts so far this campaign, winning the previous two meetings. The first of which was at the Indodrill in September, with Conor Sammon scoring the only goal of the game. At New Central Park, Andy Graham’s side took all three points in a 2-0 win with goals from Luke Donnelly and Scott Taggart.
Both sides go into this one looking to turn around difficult spells of form. Kelty Hearts are without a win in their last four having not won in the league since before Christmas, meanwhile the Clackmannanshire side have won one of their last eight.

Despite their stuttering form, Alloa have proven themselves to be dangerous going forward having scored in seven of their last eight matches. The Maroon Machine currently have conceded the least amount of goals in the league, but will be tested by the Wasps.
The winner of this match could overtake Queen of the South in fourth spot depending on the Doonhamers result.
