There were no goals in last weekend’s match at New Central Park against Inverness Caledonian Thistle. This is the third consecutive clean sheet for the Maroon Machine in our opening four games.
The unbeaten start to the season has continued for Kelty Hearts with a point against the Highland outift. On a windy afternoon there were few clear-cut chances for either side.

In the first half, Scott Williamson forced a save from Caley Thistle ‘keeper Musa Dibaga from inside the box. While the goalkeeper was also tested by long range efforts from Luke McCarvel and Ross Cunningham.
The afternoon was dampened by injuries as Michael Tidser and Tam O’Ware could not continue beyond either side of half time respectively.

Duncan Ferguson’s side had few chances to open the scoring, with Billy McKay shooting off target from inside the box in the first half. New signing Paul Allan came close late in the afternoon however he dragged his shot wide.
Speaking to Kelty Hearts TV after the match, Michael Tidser took positives from the point gained. He said “it was a bit of a scrappy game… I’m pleased with the point and the clean sheet. We’ll take the point and move on to next week hoping we’ll get some of the boys back.”
