It’s back to New Central Park for Kelty Hearts in the William Hill Scottish League One as we welcome Inverness Caledonian Thistle.  This is the first time both sides have shared a division, with the only previous meeting coming in the League Cup groups stages in 2022/23.

After being relegated from the Championship last season the Highland side have struggled to adapt to League One football.  After a poor Premier Sports Cup group stage and no wins in the opening fixtures, Caley Thistle sit with two points.

It’s been an impressive start to the season, however, for Michael Tidser’s side after picking up seven points out of the nine available.  Last time out at Gayfield a nine minute goal frenzy saw us leave Angus with a resounding win. Scott Allan has now netted in consecutive games and Ross Cunningham has scored in every game so far this season.

Speaking to Kelty Hearts TV, Ross Cunningham reflected on the start to the season by saying “personally to score three in three is a good start. But that’s all it is, we need to keep building on it.”
