2024/25 Loanees Move On

Kelty Hearts would like to thank our departing loanees for their efforts during the 2024/25 season.  Ruairidh Adams, Jacob MacIntyre, Connor Allan, Blaine McClure and Liam McLeish are all returning to their parent clubs.

Ruairidh Adams joined in the summer on loan from Premiership Dundee United, playing 34 times in the league.  The goalkeeper has achieved 14 clean sheets in 34 matches which is the second highest in the league.  His impressive form at New Central Park saw the custodian called up for Scotland’s under-21s, saving a penalty on his debut.

Liam McLeish was a January signing from Queen’s Park.  The forward made 11 appearances in maroon and netted once.  His goal came just seven minutes into his debut, opening the scoring in a 3-1 defeat to Annan Athletic.

Jacob MacIntyre joined the Maroon Machine in September on loan from Hibernian.  Making 27 league appearances, the midfielder scored three times for Kelty Hearts.  His most memorable moment for Kelty fans will be his brace in the 3-2 win against Arbroath, two excellent strikes helping us defeat the champions.

Also signing in January was Rangers midfielder Blaine McClure.  The Northern Irishman made 13 appearances for the Maroon Machine since his arrival.  McClure impressed with his tidy play from deep midfield, winning two man of the match awards.

Finally, Connor Allan will be returning to his new parent club Falkirk.  Despite initially joining from Rangers in the summer, he transferred to the Bairns in January and will join the Championship winners.  Connor has been a fans favourite at New Central Park, making 23 appearances.  Despite missing a large chunk of the second half of the season, Allan played a vital part in the final two matches after inspiring the comeback at Cove.

We would like to thank these players for their efforts and wish them the very best in their futures.
