Kelty Hearts return to KDM evolution trophy action today as they take on Lowland League side Heart of Midlothian B at New Central Park

The Maroon Machine will be looking to bounce back following a difficult defeat at the weekend to Edinburgh City.

Kelty have been more positive in their KDM evolution trophy games with last time out a 3-0 win over Cumbernauld Colts earlier this month at Broadwood. That followed by an exciting 4-3 thriller victory over Motherwell B in August, leaving Kelty on 6 points so far in their 2026/27 KDM Trophy campaign.

Hearts B also arrived in Fife having recorded two victories in KDM Evolution trophy matches so far. The young Jambos opened their accounts with a dramatic 4-3 win over Berwick Rangers before being stopped in their tracks in a 5-0 defeat to Edinburgh counterparts; The Spartans. They did not let it get to them however as they recorded an emphatic 6-1 victory over Gala Fairydean Rovers in early September.

Tuesday’s visitors will also be familiar with New Central Park as the two sides met here in the Challenge cup last November, with Hearts B claiming a narrow 1-0 victory.

With both sides having picked up two wins from three in this season’s KDM trophy, Tuesday night will provide another opportunity to add to their respective campaigns.

Tickets for the match are available to buy here.
