We would like to welcome goalkeeper Jamie Smith to the club ahead of the new season. Jamie will join the club following expiry of his current contract at Livingston, subject to SFA approval. Jamie’s arrival brings the manager’s summer signings to four following the signings of Ryan Shanley, Finn Moffett and Callum Hannah earlier in the month.

A product of the renowned Hamilton Academical youth system, Jamie signed his first senior contract at Accies in 2020. Jamie spent six seasons at Accies before joining Livingston. Speaking of his move to Kelty in the summer “I’m buzzing with the move, After speaking to the manager I was really excited to get the move done and really keen to get in for the first session. I was recently at Livingston from January and the contract ran out so being a free agent the gaffer reached out and after hearing the interest from the gaffer and his plans for me this season I was really enthusiastic to get the deal over the line.”

While with Hamilton Jamie gained valuable first team experience thanks to some successful loan moves, most recently for Annan Athletic FC through the 2024-25 season before returning to Hamilton where he featured for the League One side in 2025.

Looking at the season ahead “I want to have a successful season for the club. We will have our own ambitions within the changing room but for me I just want to get as many minutes and possible and help the team out in anyway I can.”
