Thomas O’Ware has added further attacking options to his squad with the signing of Jamie Hislop on loan from Ayr United, subject to SFA approval.
The winger arrives at New Central Park having impressed during pre-season with his parent club, with the move giving Jamie the opportunity to continue his development while gaining valuable first-team experience with Kelty Hearts.

Speaking on his move to Kelty, Jamie said: “I’m excited about the move and can’t wait to get going. I had a few phone calls with Tam (O’Ware) about how the team play and thought it sounded like a great place to play my football.”
The youngster is now looking forward to making his mark in maroon and white and hopes to contribute to the club’s promotion ambitions, adding: “Hopefully I can chip in with a good few goals and assists over the season and help try to get promoted back to League One.”

Thomas O’Ware is delighted to have secured the services of the left-footed winger and believes Jamie can add another dimension to the Kelty attack. “Jamie is a player who has done really well in pre-season at Ayr and I’m looking forward to having him join the squad. He is an intelligent footballer with great end product. We have been looking for a left-footed winger and I’m delighted we have been able to bring Jamie to the club.”
Everyone at Kelty Hearts would like to welcome Jamie to New Central Park and wish him every success during his loan spell in maroon and white.
