Finn Moffett becomes Thomas O’Ware’s second signing of the summer and has joined the club ahead of the new season.
The 22 year old striker arrives from University of Stirling FC after an impressive campaign in the Parks Motors Group Lowland League, where he proved to be one of the division’s most dangerous attacking threats. Finn scored 15 goals in 31 appearances last season, earning recognition for his clinical finishing and eye for goal. Finn is pleased with the move, and after speaking to the gaffer he said “I’m really glad to get the move done and of course I’m very excited to get started. After speaking to the gaffer and hearing his ambitions for the club, Kelty felt like the best place for me to continue developing, somewhere I would be able to push myself further and enjoy a successful season.”

Prior to his spell with University of Stirling, the Northern Irish forward featured for Bangor FC Under 20’s. Finn now makes the move to New Central Park as he takes the next step in his career, joining the marron and white ahead of the upcoming William Hill League 2 campaign. “My ambitions for the upcoming season aligns with everything else involved in Kelty I’m sure, it’s to win the league and get back to League 1. On a personal note my target for next season is to contribute to the team’s success in the attacking areas by creating and scoring goals,”
The gaffer was quick to identify the potential in the new signing. “Finn will be a player that surprises a lot of people, he has done very well at Stirling Uni and is a player I am personally a massive fan of. Finn is a very intelligent footballer who can play a number of positions and I’ve got big hopes for him. We’ve been after him for a while so I’m pleased we have managed to bring him to the club.”
Everyone at Kelty Hearts would like to welcome Finn to the club.
