Kelty Hearts Football Club Announce Appointment of New Chairman and Vice Chairman
Kelty, 29th July 2024 – Kelty Hearts Football Club is delighted to announce the appointment of George McTrusty as their new Chairman and Stuart Mill as their new Vice Chairman, effective 29th July 2024.
New Chairman: George McTrusty brings extensive experience in sports management and business leadership. Having held senior managerial positions at various financial institutions, including Clydesdale Bank, Ernst & Young and within the construction industry.
Mr McTrusty also managed finance teams in London & Edinburgh including fraud management.
Previously Treasurer at Clackmannan District sports council prior to becoming treasurer at Kelty Hearts Juniors FC and ultimately Director of Finance at Kelty Hearts FC Ltd.
He has been instrumental in driving success both on and off the field. His strategic vision and passion for football will be pivotal in steering Kelty Hearts FC towards new achievements.
New Vice Chairman: Stuart Mill has a distinguished background in the marine energy industry, having been a key figure in senior and executive management roles within the industry, for over 20 years.
He has core expertise within project control, cost engineering, commercial management, and contract law in large offshore construction projects.
Mr Mill has a long association with Kelty Hearts FC, having firstly, played for the club in the 1980’s/90’s then, after a number of years working overseas, returning as a Club Director in 2020.
His expertise and passion for Kelty Hearts FC will be invaluable in supporting the club’s ambitions and enhancing its operational excellence.
